There are 15 songs, each one an America Classic for jazz lovers. Included is Bob McHugh's inventive composition and tribute to fellow pianist, Bill Evans titled "Big Bill." These songs are performed brilliantly and in a highly memorable manner which will appeal to many people who love jazz. 

Here are some of the songs: "Blue Monk," "Here's That Rainy Day," "In A Sentimental Mood," "California Here I Come," "Skylark," "Memories of You," "Stella By Starlight," among others. "Some Time Ago" and "My One and Only Love were among my favorites, but each song was well-crafted, thus, I liked all of them without exception! AMERICAN CLASSICS is my idea of a perfect jazz piano solo collection. "Skylark" is another song that showcases Bob McHugh's talents! 

These jazz performances by Bob McHugh are among the best found anywhere, and if you like thoughtful, intricate solo piano work, this jazz collection is for you. Highly recommended.
