Who are Bobs & Lolo?

Bobs & Lolo use music, movement and make-believe to share stories and experiences that both entertain and educate, while ultimately teaching children to care about themselves, their neighbours and the planet. Their programming places an emphasis on celebrating the values of healthy-living and aims to inspire young audiences with an awareness and appreciation for the world around them. Bobs & Lolo are also regularly featured on Treehouse TV - Canada's only television network completely dedicated to preschoolers.

Growing up together on Vancouver Island, Robyn Hardy (Bobs) and Lorraine Pond (Lolo) have always shared a love of the natural world and a passion for working with children. Creating the dynamic duo Bobs & Lolo has allowed them to combine their diverse academic backgrounds with a mutual love of teaching and the creative arts.

Robyn Hardy - Bobs
Robyn is an enthusiastic and caring individual with a passion for teaching and conservation education. She has a Bachelor of Arts (honours degree majoring in linguistics) from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. On stage she loves to sing, dance, clap, snap and tap!

Lorraine Pond - Lolo
Lorraine is an energetic, motivating performer with a flare for creating connections between young audiences and the natural world. After completing a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia, she spent five years as an environmental educator at the Vancouver Aquarium. On stage she loves to sing, dance, wiggle, slide and glide!

Since debuting as Bobs & Lolo in 2003, Robyn and Lorraine have been capturing the hearts and minds of children, parents and educators alike. They regularly perform at schools, children’s festivals and performing arts centres across Canada and throughout the United States.
