bob and carol are two very talented musicians, songwriters and recording artists.
nashville has accepted many of their songs and the royalty checks just keep on rolling.
touring days are over now by choice and they spend their time writing and recording new material.
carol flies up from north carolina to lay down vocals in their new york studio.
carol has a smooth, bluesy, sexy southern voice and she executes perfect phrasing to bring out the most in each word. her style is earthy and comes directly from the heart. she also is the mother of three very talented muscians. her middle son clint lowery, is the lead guitarist in the very successful rock band "sevendust." her other two sons, corey and dustin are signing with record companies also.
bob dylan described bob's voice as remarkably like jimmie rodgers. (mississippi blue yodeler) bob and dylan met when the legend lived in the catskill mountains, overlooking the equally (and by the way, former home of cdbaby itself,) famous town of woodstock, new york. more than one afternoon was spent talking and trading songs in that huge house in the mountains. those were extremely happy and memorable days in bob's life. dylan sent bob to nashville to meet with his producer. not much came out of this meeting but important doors were opened, allowing bob to get a lot of songs heard and published.
so here now is bob and carol's first recording project together. they do hope you like the songs and would love to hear from you. feel free to email them with any questions, suggestions or anything at all.
