Album Notes

The Magnificent Mundane is a concept CD, which is part of a complete package including a five chapter on-line E-book of the same title. Each song covers some aspect of grasping the magnificence within our mundane, day to day and average lives. That each one of us is an original, we exist by the miracle of life every second, but most of us don't give such things much thought. The overall reason for any magnificence is tied to a loving, personal God as revealed by both nature and scripture. But this CD is not your usual typical Christian type of thing, but filled with thought provoking songs, some dealing with deep science topics as string theory (Theory of Everything) Some songs simply deal with the tale of an ancient poem (Peachtree) or the rapid advance of technology (Not So Long Ago). The production is simply breathtaking! It is John Boda's finest work to date, and will be a very hard one to top! It has only been out for a short while and is already getting rave reviews from many satisfied people.

REVIEWS

A showcaswe of insightful songs and great production
author: Rick Schlegel
John Boda's Magnificent Mundane proves the beauty that GOD has placed around us not only exists, but if we stop and revel in it's beauty we will see the miracle of His Hand in everything. Lyrically, this CD makes you think about how to live your life with faith in a real world...musically, the arrangements and production are the finest to date in John's awesome body of work. The songs on this project are eclectic and varied, ranging from smooth jazzy sounds, rock and roll that shows it's "Beatles" roots, and good ol' fashioned Gospel shouting that makes you feel like you've been at church ALL Sunday. Magnificent Mundane is wonderfully Magnificent, but never Mundane! Get it.. Enjoy it. Good Stuff!
