Album Notes
bodia is an alternative-pop duo comprised of cousins Mark Thorn (piano, keyboards) and Mickey Campbell (guitar, vocals). The group formed in late 2009 when Thorn and Campbell began trading rough demos online between their respective posts in Boston and Jacksonville. Yes, just like The Postal Service. Now the two guys are together in Dover, New Hampshire, where they're able to enjoy a more organic approach to songwriting and recording.

Drawing from influences such as Radiohead, Keane and Death Cab for Cutie, bodia's sound ranges from purely electronic on some tracks to entirely acoustic on others. What unifies bodia's music are clear, hook-filled melodies and warm, lush harmonies; Campbell's voice and Thorn's writing stand out as the group's primary weapons. bodia's lyrics are earnest, relatable, catchy, and sometimes almost even clever.

Oh yeah, and it's pronounced BOH-dee-uh. Like Cambodia, without the Cam.
