ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jazz Atmospheres
Fred Bogert - guitars and keyboards

These songs are instrumental expressions of various different jazz moods. The titles reflect scenes and places that inspired the melodies and rhythms. Several of these show the writing talent of bassist Marc Harris, a great musician and good friend.

Fred Bogert has spent over three decades enjoying many facets of success as a producer, composer and performer. He is a gifted multi-instrumentalist and vocalist whose intensity of musical expression has captured the attention of audiences of all kinds throughout his active performing career. Meanwhile, in his ten years on Nashville's Music Row, Mr. Bogert produced and engineered over three thousand recordings at his Studio C and Historic RCA Studio B locations. His uncanny ability to arrange and orchestrate attracted clients like Jorma Kaukonen, Vassar Clements, David Amram, John McEuen, David Carradine and, well, the list goes on! Fred produced, cowrote, engineered, played and sang on the Grammy nominated inFINity album of Trout Fishing in America in 2001. In April of 2003 Mr. Bogert joined Trout Fishing in America in concert with the Austin Symphony Orchestra in a concert that featured his symphonic arrangements.

An outrageously talented musician, Fred continues to share his years of performing experience with audiences throughout the United States.

Really enjoyable - great tunes!
Expecting my own jazz CD here mid April 05, I check out new jazz arrivals daily. I found the sound clips to be consistenly very high in quality, composition and instrumentation. Nice Job Fred!
