Album Notes

Singer- songwriter Fred Bogert is known by audiences of all ages for his engaging and energetic performances . Whether solo or with his Little Big Band, his concerts are universally appealing. His songs explore relationships in a bluesy-jazzy way that features strong melodies and top- notch musicianship. On acoustic guitar he can be folksy, and on the piano he often lets his high-energy rock 'n roll side fly. The power in Fred's voice allows him to connect deeply and profoundly with his audience.

Fred has performed his songs onstage with legends like Vassar Clements and John McEuen, in venues including the Fillmore West. This part of Fred's catalog is represented by the "Life in the Briarpatch" CD. Fred recently appeared at Nashville's historic Ryman auditorium with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra to celebrate the release of the "Kid Pan Alley-Nashville" CD, which he co-produced. Artists on the project included Delbert Mc Clinton, Raul Malo, Suzy Boggus, Amy Grant, and many others.
