Tracks 1 thru 13 were recorded by Bola at his home studio in Marin County, California, between 1986 and 1987. Tracks 14 and 15 were recorded live at The Boarding House in San Francisco, September 1971.
All songs on this recording were played on a Ramirez classical guitar, in Standard Tuning, except Dragon's Lament, Windspell, Gypsy Fingers, Balanca da Garotinha, Sertaneja and You Make My Heart Sing, where the lowest pitched string is tuned two half steps down to D.

I was surprised and happy when I heard about this release. I was even more surprised that upon receiving it... It has become my favorite release this year. I can't help but appreciate the sheer brilliance that a lifetime of hard work can lead up to... with the culmination being the music recorded on this disc. For me, this is my favorite music that I have heard Bola play. There are many glimpses of beauty throughout this record, and his playing is so GOOD!!! Buy it, you will be happy you did.
