Album Notes

The Bombshells-Audio Wasteland

Two years after their self-titled release The Bombshells introduce "Audio Wasteland". Recorded in Los Angeles throughout the Summer of 2005. "Audio Wasteland" is an all original
compilation of rock and roll influenced by aspects of punk of the 1970's to current.

Consistent with the working-class attitude of keeping the weekend alive, The Bombshells have unleashed 13 songs that accomplish a weave of nothing left to loose vocals, sweetly viscous guitar attacks and sucker punch drumming. With a liking towards The MC5, New York Dolls, Sex Pistols, Clash and The Ramones. "Audio Wasteland" is meant to be played with a twisted grin and the volume turned to 11.

The Bombshells Audio Wasteland CD

It seems that California has added one more great punk band to the scene,
The Bombshells are a band that I have never heard of before...but will
deffinitly stay on my list of bands to look forward to. This CD has all the
elements from the PUNK-ROCK generations that have past us all, but they keep
it fresh, and not a burned out sound. The Bombshels have me thinking of some
of my favorite past bands such as The Sex Pistols/Mudhoney, and our very own
current locals The Killouts. I liked every song on this disccuz all the
songs were equally as good as the next, and it didn;t drop at all. 13 tracks
in just 33 minutes has grabbed my attention, and hopefully others as well.
