author: Greg Callahanheard, saw and what a delight!
author: nancy eSaw Lucy at the Warwick Winery Blues Fest and came away with a favorite CD now played by all (ages 12 to 51) in my house. Lucy is a talent worth pursuing around the metro area. Waiting patiently for another CD!
She could sing a college test book and make it sound good!
author: FischmanWow! What a voice! Deep, soulful, and very captivating. "This ole House" will have you tapping your toes and swaying with your arms in the air. "Bitter Sweet" is perfect for those bluesy days. "Turn My Hill Into a Mountain" is the perfect combination of meaningful lyrics and a showcase for this phenominal voice. 4 stars only because there's only 5 songs on the disc.
We love Lucy Bonilla, uhh, Lucy P!!!!!!!!!

Lucy Rocks!
author: Pliskel and FleabertSomething our of Nothing: "He's going to hollywood" and "what does he do with his time.." -Nobody's Man, the first track of Lucy Bonilla's cd Something out of nothing, A rocket of bluesy rock with a voice that you just cant place. She sounds familiar, yet you cant really pick WHO it is she sounds like. Maybe that is a good thing, because she definately sounds like a weatherd professional on each of the tracks on this cd. Maybe a little soul, mixed with a little rock and roll sound, Rythm and Blues, and some country for good measure. Her cd will most likely appeal to the country bar crowd who like to dance and two step, but for the most parts its fairly an adult contemporary cd. All the songs have superb production and sounds as if they have been doing this their whole lives, which may be the case for some of the musicians on here. All the songs are written by Lucy whom commands the listeners ears with her voice. Being a musician myself, I found myself trying to find the flaws in her music and the songs, but I could not find anything BAD about her cd other than its mostly modern country sounding, which isnt bad but it isnt my favorite form of music. Overall I give this cd a 5 out of 5 on all areas of review. Song writing, structure, mood and production are great thoughout this cd. For the 30 and up age group, you'll love this cd.
Great Soulfull Sound!
author: Thomas J Cope (Crack Head of Twisted Pair, and Twisted Pair RecoLucy Bonilla is an artist whose cd is featured on our radio site. I must say, her music is both lush and soulfull. She has a more Adult Contemporary sound for the Rythm and Blues crowd and her sound is just right for where shes trying to go with her music! You should all give her cd a spin, and check out her music! She gets 5 stars from me!
