"It's not everyday that you find a record from a road-hardened tour dog with one track sung in Japanese, guest appearances from Grant Lee Buffalo's Grant Lee Phillips and Joey Peters, and an overall sound that's as reminiscent of Lennon and McCartney as it is of Cheap Trick and Ben Folds. Bill Bonk delivers on his second solo release as he sings and plays guitar, bass, harmonica, flute, mandolin, keyboard, and short-wave radio.

You may recognize "Halfway Home" and "Rings a Bell" from recent episodes of the ABC-TV hit series, "Alias". "Faithful" was featured on the WB Network's program, "Felicity" and "In the Back Of My Mind" just aired on CBS-TV's "Joan Of Arcadia".

This is a great CD. I am so glad that Alias (the tv show) is introducing us to some artist that we might not other wise have found. The artist are so refreshing, and I could listen to the music all day.

Bill Bonk's album eveningshade is perfect for unwinding from the day. It's the sort of CD you listen to as you're driving home in traffic, and suddenly bumper to bumper doesn't seem so bad.
