A fresh CD - you have to get this!

This CD is awesome! There is a little bit of everything - mellow rock, funk, rap, and some surprises. I love the song "Tripwire"...can't get enough of it. You don't want to miss this CD!

The reason why I'm married? Not quite, but...
author: Ben
I work at Performing Songwriter magazine, (quoted in this album's listing) and not to toot my own horn, but I'm the one who first listened to this CD in the office. We often share "DIY" review listening duties. Anyway, this album stood out like a flashing, screaming ball of gold in a pile of (forgive me) lackluster ramblings.
It ended up in my car a couple of weeks later when I went on an impromptu 2500 mile road trip with an old college friend. We must have listened to "signs of passing" 10 times over the course of those 5 days, and long story short, we were married after what I consider to be a pretty short amount of time.
I'm not much for the "rap" parts of the album, but I guess they break things up. Comparisons to Sting are inevitable, but that's selling this album short. Aside from being an incredible driving album, the lyrics, melodies, and production are desirable in almost every way. I am anxiously awaiting another album.
