Bononia Sound Machine presents the new CD “Funky Dreams!”, a new challenging studio recording which hosts world wide famous musicians.

Bononia Sound Machine, an eleven piece band born in 1992, in Bologna – Italy, has a tremendous lively impact in both sound and scenic terms. Since the really first days the aim of BSM was to create more and more soul and funky lovers all around he country. On stage and in studio the band has demonstrated its strong personality and great sense of groove, paying respect to the great master of soul and funky of the past, but also giving to the music its own influence.

“FUNKY DREAMS !” is the new CD from BONONIA SOUND MACHINE which hosts some of current and former Tower of Power members David Garibaldi, Rocco Prestia, Stephen Kupka, Emilio Castillo and Mic Gillette.

The CD is produced by Jeff Tamelier, guitar player, arranger, and producer who has recorded and performed with the Tower of Power from 1996 until 2006. Today he is the President of the production company House of Hansen and vice president of Strokeland Records

Most of the horn arrangements are written by Greg Adams, member of the Academy Awards and responsible, along with Rocco Prestia and David Garibaldi, for the unique sound of Tower Of Power wich is lasting over four decades !!

"Since the very first day, we wanted to give this CD a very special meaning : this is our third one, and when we started, we knew we were working on a very special project, but we never thought we would have gone that far. "FUNKY DREAMS!" is the reality that becomes bigger than the dream itself !!! Sharing stage and songwriting funky music with some of our favouritemusic masters is the truly expression of a dream that came true. We sure didn't expect it, but didn't want to miss it and now we are just waiting to understand what's gonna be next".
