It’s late 2006 and the surviving members of the Borderland All-Stars still embrace and continually celebrate the timeless tradition of “bursting into song”. That is all it is and as it was when the tape started rolling on this rare session up in the mountains. The project progressed very much like time-lapsed photography of colorful, sprouting fungi seen in certain science class film documentaries… And so it’s “One Spore For The Road” as they say in showbiz. “Play this loud while driving” is another phrase the band wants included here. The All-Stars will surely continue “bursting into song” both individually and collectively (perhaps in a venue near you), always in order to say “Thank You, Fans”.

The Borderland All-Stars are a bunch of funky assed soulsters who have been together for over 15 years. They are:
David Spagone: Guitars, vocals, keyboard, percussion & gigantic forehead
Jason Buhl: Saxophone, flute, vocals, guitar, keyboard, kazoo & last-minute travel arrangements
Chris Houston: Bass, soul, family values & vibrato
Jefferson Woods: Drums, percussion, timbale & shark simulator
