“Read Between The Lines” is the debut CD which has been in process for over two years. Releasing it nationally on 1/4/11 was like giving birth after a really, really long gestation!! It feels wonderful to finally have these songs out for fans, old and new, to enjoy.
BORDERLINE ELEVEN is an alternative pop rock band out of Hooksett, New Hampshire birthed in 2005. The band was started in Dan’s basement with founders Dan and Joe just jamming out for something to do in their spare time. They met Andy at church and invited him to join in on drums. After a short time of covering songs just to find out if they could play well together, Andy’s older brother Luke was invited to join because he could play guitar and might add something more to their sound. Their local church happened to host frequent open mic nights and they became regulars, performing their covers and testing out new material. Their music was well received and thus began the journey.
Their first five years have been amazing! The band earned back-to-back high school championships as well as wins in community Battles. Hoping to get at least 10 gigs on the books their first year of serious gigging, persistence and the trust of local event organizers in a new band put them over 30 dates. Fan demand for their music grew and forced the release of six demo songs as an EP in the summer of 2006. “Pacific Wasteland” helped to satisfy that demand until 2011 with the debut CD release. Hooking up with local venues and promoters, they have had opportunities to open for national and regional artists like ELEVENTYSEVEN, THE FOLD, JOHN REUBEN, BOBBY BISHOP, THE CLASSIC CRIME, EVERYDAY SUNDAY, AND THEN THERE WERE NONE, and RECYCLED PERCUSSION. Signing with their label, Tate Music Group, was another huge step forward for the band.
The CD was produced entirely in New Hampshire. Recording took place at Rocking Horse Studio in Pittsfield with engineer Brian Coombs at the helm, with mastering and distribution handled by the label. Promo photography was artfully executed by Matty Grenier of Matt Grenier Photography, and the awesome album art was created by Rory Lawrence of www.rorylawrence.com. BORDERLINE ELEVEN is very pleased to present this CD as the product of New Hampshire individuals dedicated to excellence in the fields of music and art.
“Read Between The Lines” has begun to open bigger doors for the band and begins the next chapter of their story. They know that God has led their path along the way and know He will be faithful to continue to guide. They are in for the ride however long it may last and wherever it may lead. Thank you for your interest in the music and may it bring you much enjoyment. And thanks be to you who will hold this Sacred Disc of Awesomeness in your hands, furthering its quest for world domination! Word.
