What a great surprise to listen to Border Radio for the first time! This CD is so much fun, the music so joyful, the vocals so true and arresting, and the instrumentals are just...well...amazing! I bought it based on the three or four songs I could hear on the website, but they don't do this CD justice. McCune's extraordinary songwriting combines humor with passion and she has a mature voice that is like listening to honey. The band provides terrific back-up, adding strength and depth.
