"Andrew Bordoni & Friends" is the new 12 track instrumental guitar extravaganza from chicago based British guitarist Andrew Bordoni.
Featuring amazing guests including Michael Angelo Batio, Kee Marcello (Europe, K2), Dave Weiner (Steve Vai Band), Lars Eric Mattsson, Matt Konfirst, Ryan Richko (Midnite Vendetta) and the upcoming talented 17 year old Jam Band guitarist Will Scarlett!
Andrew Bordoni & Friends is one of the most exciting and accessible instrumental guitar albums in years bound to please all audiences!
"I had a fantastic time recording the solo on Andrew's CD. The song I performed on has a great melody and a killer groove. The production is first rate".
Michael Angelo Batio
"When Andrew asked if I’d play on one of his tunes, I said “..well that depends on the tune.” For me to want to be a part of a musical project, the music has to say something to me; it has to hit that spot in my ear that sends a signal to my brain to pull on my heart strings. You know, that same signal that gives you chills and makes your core tingle. As soon as I heard the main theme of Motherland, I felt the tug and knew I’d enjoy playing on the track. Well done Andrew."
Dave Weiner (Steve Vai Band, Solo Artist)
"it was with big pleasure I participated in the recording of Andrew's album. Andrew's playing rocks and his compositional style is melodic and joyful to listen to"
Lars Eric Mattsson
"What I loved about mind tapped is that the song is gorgeous but still shreds in your face! There are a lot of emotional ties that the song put me through so it was an honor and great challenge for me to come up with a solo."
Ryan Richko

A SUPERB guitarist!
author: Dag Fjellby
Andrew Bordoni has got what it takes, absolutely!
I agree that it’s possible to draw lines between Andrew Bordoni and Joe Satriani. If he’s better than Satriani is hard to say, but as author Seth Gregson wrote: “Here "Bordoni" gives us first and foremost SONGS which can be extremely difficult in the instrumental guitar genre”.
It’s been some time since Satriani came out with groundbreaking guitar techniques like this.
I’m listening very often to this kind of music, and I think I’ve played this one at least 10 times since I got it. So, if you’re a fan of good guitar playing including amazing techniques, or if you’re a guitar player yourself, do yourself a favor and buy Andrew Bordoni & Friends. 5 out of 5 stars!

BETTER THAN SATRIANI!
author: Seth Gregson
What I mean by "Better Than Satriani" is overall the songwriting, melodies and techniques are way more balanced than anything Satch has failed to deliver since "The Extremist"
Here "Bordoni" gives us first and foremost SONGS which can be extremely difficult in the instrumental guitar genre.
That said there is plenty of shredding and technical stuff to make any guitarist happy but the success of this CD is that even if you don't play guitar you get connected. The same way you would connect to a Tom Petty song or to a Bob Dylan song.
While the album has nothing to do stylistically to the two artists mentioned you will understand what I mean when you listen to the whole album.
Never boring and always thoughtful "Andrew Bordoni & Friends" is proof that one doesn't always need a singer and words to tell a story or express an emotion.
Final note, I'm a guitar player and listen to intrumental stuff all the time and this has by far been my favorite album to come in the past 15 years.
