Fun world fusion - a breath of fresh air in harping
author: Customer Jean
This is true ensemble work in original compositions featuring ethic blends, soft jazz, some shifting tonality - not harp with accompaniment, like most harp CDs. Many tracks remind me of Al DeMeola's world fusion work (The Grand Passion). At first, it bummed me out that all but the winds and harp were synthesized, but I am sure it would work well in a live performance with a real bassist and drummer - I'd love to hear BG & CM live. Kudos!
