Boris Potskov -“ Love Songs” - Music for the 21st century

Ten songs from Boris Potskov, a Bulgarian musician living in Sofia, which ascend well beyond the usual sphere of popular music. These are wonderfully sensual soundscapes which are designed to evoke an emotional response from the listener.

This is World Music in the true sense of the words. It is a heady musical cocktail which contains elements of Eastern and Western cultures, instruments, orchestration and voices to produce a totally unique musical vision.

Boris began playing guitar and composing at an early age and has always had a desire for his music to be truly world-wide. While working in London he began to write the melodies which have become “Love Songs “ and sent some demos to Music Publishers including Dave Whitelock of Smoking Frog Productions. Since that time Boris has returned to Bulgaria to complete the recordings with a small group of musically gifted professionals but continued his collaboration with Smoking Frog Productions who have subsequently published the album.
