ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"bornintheflood is a band approaching things most of us have not yet experienced. At times intensely emotional and others jagged and raw, they create a tone of immediacy with their driving and richly unique sound. They are the perfect combination of melody and true grit."- Art District Magazine

Bobbie

the flood is coming.
"Fate" grabs me every time, along with "Low flying clouds". Creative, unique, and inspiring, this amazing cd stayed in my player for weeks.

Miss Yes

and then there was you...
Almost to much, but I can never get enough.

Diana

Awesome!!
This is my 2nd copy! I just love it! Their new one "If This Thing Should Spill" is even better, if you can beleive that!! A brilliant band who should go far!

Ben

underrated
This album is highly underrated. seriously. If you're looking for confident, strong vocals, here they are.

daddio

No labels, just love!
The music floats subtlely between genres... much like a well balanced soul. Two words: LOVED IT.

Nate

Unique little Beauty
Cheers to BITF, a very jazzy, inventive, rockin' head nodder.

Attention Tia

"Simply Deliciuos"
This is my second copy. If I could eat this music, I would. And maybe the band too.

Denver Syntax

"The Fear That We May Not Be" is a gorgeous and sophisticated collection.
Spiraling, crashing melodies and charging bass lines - "The Fear That We May Not Be" is a gorgeous, sophisticated, and at times, masterful collection that explores the purpose in choice, as well as the struggle in the process of finding meaning. Sorrowful, redemptive and hypnotic - Born in the Flood's EP is a must buy.

Tamara Turner, CD Baby

I'm still recovering from the trip this album put me through but let me replay the scenario. There's a million influences flying by your ears all at once (Coldplay/Chris Martin, Colin Hay, Keane, U2, Sting/the Police) and yet another part of you is saying, 'Shut up and just listen!". Blending bold colors of the 80s with emo, progressive rock and an overall sweet, fresh indie feel, Born in the Flood- I have to say- did it for me. They have honed in on a memorable blend of simplicity and approachability while also being enchanting, desirable and siren-like. Good stuff to keep away from your girlfriend.
