Album Notes

Etched In Stone" is an acoustic guitar easy listening album. Great stories with positiive messages. Mark did most of the album on his own. Matt Andes, of Jo Jo Gunne played slide guitar. Randell Kirsh, travel guitar player for the Beach Boys played some lead guitar. Art Alphin played keyboard on (Watch the Children) and Jay Hall played bass on a couple tracks. After completing two albums with the MINIMUM WAGE BAND, Mark was offered free studio time from Randell Kirsh to work on a solo project. As a result, and a year later "ETCHED IN STONE" was completed. Though the album was low a budget production and didn't have the bells and whistles that the Minimum Wage Band had experienced, the response was fantastic. MP3.com radio station had the last track on the album (All We Need) at #1 for close to a month.

MARK BORSUK: Born 1955 in Bronx New York. Moved to California in 1983. He and his family have been living in Moorpark California for the past eighteen years. Mark and his wife Stacy have two beautiful children, Alissa and Taylor. Mark has worked for Nestle's Waters of North America for the past twenty-three years. He has spent most of his music career as a solo performer playing acoustic guitar and vocals. Played at venues throughout Greenwich Village and the Manhattan area. Joined an original band in Los Angles California called The Minimum Wage band. Completed two CD’S with the Minimum Wage Band and a solo CD, Etched in Stone. Mark has extensive live and studio performances including Spencer Davis, Richie Hayward, Matt Andes, Lenny Castro, Danny Wild, Mike Landau, Rick Serrette, Johnny Barbata, Sarah O’Brian, John Molo and currently working with Howard Leese. Mark’s prolific writing and consistently great vocals insures his music to be timeless.
