Album Notes

From Norse mythology, MUNIN is one of two ravens that accompanied Odin. He would send them out each day and they would return to him with news of goings-on in the world. \"Hugin\" was thought and \"Munin\" was memory.

Originally slated as no more than Boss\' entry into the 2008 RPM Challenge to write and record an album in a month, this project coincided with the passing of Boss\' grandfather and became a tribute of sorts.

Stylistically similar to the solo work of John Frusciante as well as Liz Phair\'s earlier endeavors, MUNIN reflects Boss\' alternative roots in a fresh yet timeless way.

The CDs are handmade by the artist and include original block prints on the reverse side of the lyrics sheets.
