With so many sound-a-like bands with over-produced releases in metal, it is cool to find one that has a great raw and dirty sound. This band is about energy and they bring it full force. Killer songs with memorable songwriting. Great cd.

They call themselves the "Kings of satanic whiskey fueled 80's thrash metal punk," and though that's a hefty claim, this Louisville group has what it takes to back it up. By embracing everything that made 80's thrash such a driving force (speeding tempos, huge riffs, a little bit of satan), these guys are taking the music back to its roots, without sounding the least bit dated or irrelevant. Seems they only need about 30 seconds to get revved up, and the short intro on the opener, "Submit to Satan," sounds more like the band holding back then stretching out. After that, it's madness. They fly through nine more tracks, each one seeming to grow more aggressive and increasingly focused. By the time they wrap it up with the guitar assault of "Baphomet's Call," you'll feel like you've been front row at a Venom show in 1983.
