ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bottle Cap Rockets is a New Jersey based three piece Indie Rock/Adult Alternative group formed in 2010 by Singer/Songwriter & Guitarist Al Gross with Chris Wolfer on Bass and Steve Tenney on Drums. There are a host of influences powering this rocket that include The Kinks, The Beatles, ZZ Top, Johnny Cash, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Led Zeppelin. The songs have a vintage vibe with a modern twist. American Roots Rock with a strong blues undertone. Power Pop also makes an appearance on a few songs.
Tim Whale of The Indie Band Blog writes "It takes some confidence to rip away the layers of complication in a world where this style of music has been left out in the cold for far too long. Bottle Cap Rockets are deft exponents and the power riffs which are held together by bass and drum and enhanced by understated vocal make this clever, clean music. First Seven is a delightful traverse across the ground that is Bottle Cap Rockets. Well worth taking the time to listen to.
