I have been asked often when I teach workshops worldwide for copies of the simple rhythms I use in class. Here’s a collection of some of the rhythms arranged in increasing tempos, all tracks around 8 minutes long.
Special thanks to Michael Beach & Brothers of the Baladi for the inspiration & support, Bruce Beaton for the knowledge and training in my ‘baby dancer’ days, Carmine Guida for the positive mental attitude, Big Fish Audio for the samples & loops and especially Harry & Betty Saroyan who have been a constant source of support & love during even the most difficult times. This CD is dedicated those who inspire us to reach further than we could have imagined.

The only thing wrong with Jim Boz's Instructor's Toolkit is that there isn't more of it! Seriously, a fantastic tool for running a class or a workshop.

Instructor's Toolkit: Volume 1 - a success!!
author: Richelle J
Thanks for this great compilation of rhythms. It is not just the same old that you find on a lot of the drilling CD's out there, and the tracks are a decent length, not too short, not too long; one of the issues I had with some other rhythm cds, having to hit the repeat button due to shorter tracks. This is going to be great for teaching with! The speed progressions are fantastic, I can have my students drill slowly through one song, to build the muscle memory, then drill at a faster pace once the move is set. No more switching cds all the time... I am looking forward to your next release!!!
Thanks Jim!!
