Broken Promise Keeper's "Poptimized" is the follow-up to his critically-acclaimed 2009 album "Ice Cold Pop." The new CD turns it up to 11 with another batch of wiggly little earworms, but this time featuring even catchier hooks and choruses. From straight-ahead rockers to three-chord popfests to mid-tempo acoustic numbers, the songs' subject matter ranges from surprisingly mature to downright goofy. But every tune features melody, harmony, and a sense of humor.
