Album Notes

Psykosonik founder/singer and Platinum Record-winning producer Paul Sebastien returns to the music world after 8 years, teaming with Wideband Network founder Caesar Filori to create Basic Pleasure Model with a mission to add some lushness, intelligence and un-apologetic Hedonism to the banal music landscape that permeates you at every turn.

With their second CD Mega-Single, How to Live, featuring incredible interpretations by such remixers as KiloWatts, Mercury Federation, 3PM, PPGWave and others, Basic Pleasure Model delivers on the best of what was Psykosonik while forging brand new ground. The result is a highly original blend of lush intelligent electronic pop with early 80's British analog heaven, all wrapped-up in a tasty stew of heady Taoism-meets-Buddhist-meets-Paganism. Savoir Vivre!

These guys know all about emotive music....
author: synthboy
Not only did psykosonik prove that music can be about exploring emotion with intelligent lyrics, basic pleasure model continues where p-sonic left off without missing the rythmic beat. Outstanding keyboard grooves that make you move and lyrics to ponder deeply... outstanding!

How To Live is definately surpasses my expectations. It's not very often that a group can turn out two mega singles that are soooo good! Each in it's own way, but both from the same group. And all the individual mixes! With 10 completely different mixes and an instrumental, this is definately a cd to get and be enjoyed for a long time!
