Eric Brace is the frontman of the acclaimed Nashville-based
alt-country band Last Train Home. A former music journalist for The Washington Post, Brace collaborates here with another music journalist, Peter Cooper, senior music writer and critic for the Nashville daily, The Tennessean. Together, they blend their styles and their voices to create a unique release, "You Don't Have to Like Them Both," a blend of original compositions and songs by the likes of Kris Kristofferson, Todd Snider, Jim Lauderdale, and David Olney. It also features the stellar musicianship of legendary pedal steel player Lloyd Green as part of the core band that included great Nashville musicians, Dave Roe, Jen Gunderman, and Paul Griffith. Also joining in the fun are Tim O'Brien, Kenny Vaughan, Tim Carroll, Richard Bennett, Daniel Tashian, Jon Byrd and Scotty Huff. Brace has toured Europe, Australia, and all over the U.S. with Last Train Home, a prolific and much admired band with 8 CDs and one DVD to its name. Cooper is one of Nashville's rising songwriting stars, whose debut CD,"Mission Door" was hailed by the likes of Kris Kristofferson and Tom T. Hall as a powerful work from a confident artist.

The lead track on the CD, Brace's "I Know A Bird" was the #1 folk song upon its release and received honors from the International Songwriting Competition out of 15,500+ entries.
