This is Bradajo's second series of tales about DA KAPENTA. His first three pieces were recorded in the mid-seventies on side two of a cassette tape entitled SOME MORE LIKE THAT FROM THE INSIDE. The complete set of these early tales were finally recorded in 2000 under the title DA KAPENTA, with slack-key guitar accompaniment by Kaua'i artist Vinny Bryan and Vermont guitarist Will Wright.
Having recently discovered seven additional early KAPENTA pieces buried in his files that had never been recorded, Bradajo revised and recorded them in 2009. This reading is masterfully accompanied by Hawaii born slack-key artist Christ Yeaton, with Russ Appleyard on flute and Andy Rising on cello. This is the recording you hear.
Though Bradajo claims no particular teaching, church, or influence as inspiration for these tales (other than the "voice within"), he admits to a wide range of study into Spirit that includes A Course in Miracles.. The Urantia Book, Mary Baker Eddy, J. Krishnamurti, Paul Tuttle's Raj Material, Neal Donald Walsch, Tom Carpenter, and more recently Eckhart Tolle.
