Album Notes

I think there's a little bit of something for everyone here. However, if you are really into Country, Hip-Hop or Easy Listening...it's not too late to turn back now. So I know what you're thinking - How do I take a guy wearing a bunny suit seriously? Exactly.

Anywho, probably the easiest way to say what's going on here is to make a track-by-track comparison of some popular artists and similarities therein.

1. For You - The Cure on a bad hair day
2. Stick it to the Man - Elvis Costello meets Bachman-Turner Overdrive
3. Give Me a Call Sometime - Good Charlotte and SR71 combo
4. Hand Me Downs - An attempt at Pseudo-Funk...not to be confused with James Brown
5. SoCal Cretins - The Beatles time warp to modern day Pacific Beach and hang out with the boys from Blink 182
6. Over and Over - Matchbox 20 collaborates with The Psychedelic Furs
7. Here and Now - Guns & Roses VS. Hanson in a Steel Cage DeathMatch...I think we all know who wins here but those scrappy Hanson fellows manage to bloody a few noses before going down
8. The Good Girl - The Cult meets Smashmouth
9. Girlfriend - Fairly true to Mathew Sweet's with a little extra stank on it
10. King for a Day - The Ramones wake up one day and feel very enlightened...they enroll in Harvard

Cheers.

No more bunny suit for BB after this one!
author: Mute
Calling mr. bigshot-record-company-owner, is there a mr. bigshot-record-company-owner out there? You may want to give this one a thorough listen! Tracks one through six are great, and then Here and Now comes to out rock 'em all! Great riffs and a pleasant, clear voice ringing throughout! Get him out of that bunny suit!

I order you to buy this CD!

BB does a very good job at NOT sounding like everything else that is out today. Way to mix it up! My favorite has to be 'Here and Now', but its a tough choice to make cause they all kick it big time!

Buy it ... you won't be sorry

In a perfect world, Bruns would get a record deal based on this CD. Catchy as all heck, great jamming (he played all the instruments) and songwriting. It has hooks that you'll be humming long after you stop listening.

Eclectic, High-energy Compilation with Something for Everyone
author: Eden Antonio
I absolutely loved this CD; creatively arranged, an eclectic mix of harmony, edge & energy...the sound is tight, the lyrics are catchy, with a finger on the pulse of modern culture, but provocative enough to render lots of lyrical wit, sound, & style. This is a distinctively infectious CD, and its mix makes provides appeal for audiences of any age, and transcends across musical genres. My definite favorite selection for a long drive or party tunes:)
