notes

-Brad Wilson's song, "Teaser," was prominently featured in the film and soundtrack for John Carpenter"s Vampires. The album won a Saturn award for the soundtrack. Also, BMG Records in Europe released "Teaser" as a single.

-Featured guitarist on John Carpenter"s movie soundtrack
"Ghosts of Mars"

-For the last five years Brad's songs are used on the NBC TV show "Passions"

-"This album offers a baker's dozen of blues-rock tunes that stand as tall and sound as sweet as anything you're going to hear on speciality labels like Alligator, Blind Pig or Ruff this year.

-There are too damn many good songs on the album to go into every one, but there are standouts that will stick in your brain and have you humming along or playing air guitar as you listen.

-The songwriting is more muture than that of better-known contemporaries like Walter Trout or Poppa Chubby. An enormous and impressive debut, Brad Wilson the album does an admirable job introducing Brad Wilson the artist, a little-known but nevertheless major talent with a bright future ahead of him."

"This album is a showcase for a songwriter and guitarist who has the talent to appeal to most fans of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Sheperd and other blues revisionists, but there's just enough pop sensibility to appeal to a wider rock audience. The disc shows Brad Wilson at his best - great riffing and simple blues melodies."

I personally like it. There is no filler material on this CD. The lyrics are well written and remind me of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. That kind of poetry tells a whole story. Highly recommended!
