People constantly remark on the harmonious and soothing melodies. They also mention how sweet and pure the vocals are. Because there are so many tender, devotional songs written about close friends and loved ones, the cd is adored by people whose highest priority are friends and family.
Several songs, particularly one about my child and one about my deceased father, make people weep. Not cry, but weep. One of the love songs to my wife seems so familiar that people often ask if it is a song already made famous by a celebrity. There are a few soft rock songs, but mostly they are folk-like or adult contemporary. While there are three or four standouts that everyone mentions, each and every song on the cd has been picked as a favorite by some listener. Some have mentioned a zen-like quality about the vocals because of their calming effect.
