When Chris Kelly was 18 years old, he drove from New Jersey to the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Over the following weekend, he would hear his calling: Start a band that fuses the festive sounds of New Orleans with the Hendrix and Allmans he grew up on. The result is a unique mix of jamming guitar and funky horns.
