The self penned debut album from Brain In A Vat, using a blend of computer music, samples and live instruments invokes memories from various timelines in electronic music, a soundtrack perhaps to a movie, or lounge music from your favourite bar. The tracks are a blend of techno, electronica, dance and lo-fi.
"Extract from a Review by Matthew Forss; Scotland’s Brain In A Vat is an electronic mystery to many, but his music reveals the complex electronic nature of keyboard sounds, percussion beats, and atmospheric washes from futuristic realms. Schrӧdinger’s Cat is a work of fifteen tracks that set to traverse the instrumental electronic world by storm. The metallic embellishments, ambulating beats, and somewhat melodic compositions are unique and enthralling. "

"Brain in a Vat’s debut release, Schrödinger’s Cat is an interesting album that is able to incorporate some very eclectic components, creating an overall heighted effect for listeners new to the whole Electronica and Ambient Techno genre."
