Después de que Brand New Brain lanzasen su primer álbum "Respira", la formación se disolvió... por un tiempo su fundador, Luis García de León, ofreció algunos conciertos acústicos que derivaron en la creación de un EP acústico bajo el nombre "El paso del tiempo"... Este es el primer single de adelanto del mismo, y es reflejo de ese lado acústico del proyecto. Cambio de voz y el lado más íntimo mostrado en sus canciones, marcan el punto de inflexión que se produjo en la banda.
