Electroganics. Sampler-based music for those into Orbital, Skinny Puppy, Aphex Twin or Amon Tobin...old-schoolers seem to like it best. 'Snap' is really like one long song...a journey through a variety of styles. Peace.

Brap - v. 1. to make a loud or vulgar sound; 2. to gather together, hook-up electronic instruments, get high and record.
The name derives from good old Skinny Puppy and was given to me many, many years ago by Bart Sinister of Frankenstein (www.frankensteintheband.com) when he and I were in an industrial band called Rorschach. When that project imploded, I took my music underground and shared it with very few ears for very many years...good thing times a'change, eh?
"Snap" is an exploration into what one guy can do with one sampler and the will to make people smile and bob their heads ALONG WITH HIM...me. ;) The 'actual' album is not an album, but a performance-- every time it is played, it changes just a bit...evolves. Like me. And you.
"Version 1.4" is this performance broken into chunks and labelled for the 4th time, making them more digestible for the public. It is meant to be listened to from beginning to end, but I don't mind if you pick favorite parts. Personally, I have always been into albums, not songs, so that is how I write. The journey contained within reaches far and wide. I admit that the recording is a bit low, but with a bit more volume, clean as can be-- I am very happy with these versions (and only cringe in one spot that was allowable to get the version you hear of "Orbaloney").
If you like electronica (like me) and have for a long time (since mid-80s, for me), you just very well might like me; I have picky ears and if you pay close-enough attention, you might notice. ;) Peace.
Oh yeah...much of this album/project/performance was inspired by Stephen King's "Dark Tower" books, so props to him.
