Good stuff!
author: John Pace
As someone else has already said, this cd is a breath of fresh air. A friend of mine had told me about them after finding a copy of this cd and paying twice what CDbaby charges (he thought it was oop). The vocals and whole layout of the album was strikingly beautiful to me. Some bands grow, others don't. Breathe won't be blown away, I don't think.

Jeremiah and Jon make you feel like you are sharing something very personal to them with this CD. The music is varied and interesting, and the lyrics are thought provoking.

melding pop marketability with underground kudos masterfully
author: Gillian Nash (LOGO Magazine)
Breathe pull off the fiendishly difficult trick of melding pop marketability with underground kudos masterfully, one minute sounding like hyperactive Zero 7 with guitars (rain has come) the next like a boy band who've thrown the mould against the wall, then picking up the passionate indie threads of JJ72.'songs to live and die for' is a mixed bag for sure, stylistically at least, but the quality control rarely wavers. The only cloud on the horizon is the audience, there's too little of any one thing to hook a big one, though the evidence here is that should they choose to concentrate their resources they can have the pick of the crop.
