Missed my Chichester based Iyenga class last night following a day in Brighton blah blah... hellish gridlock on the A27 coming home ... blah blah.. [how do those poor commuters do it? I\'d take poison if I had to suffer that drive every day] anyway... Feeling really antsy having spent waaaaay too much time confined in a motor vehicle, and riddled with guilt [even though it was my first trip in a week that wasn’t made on foot] that I had burned gallons of diesel - better on CO2 emissions than petrol but worse on NOx - in near stationary traffic, and thereby helped, yet again, to line the bulging pockets of Big Oil whilst simultaneously destroying another patch of this Gaian paradise… I needed my yoga fix more than ever. Solution… decided to unfurl my hemp and natural latex mat at home. Slipped into the CK PJs [hmm, laidback cool and comfy cosy, but not recycled flannel; should I have returned the gift?] and indulged in some self-practice [I said self-practice!] and hey... \'Celtic Inspiration\' was right there by the CD thingy in the workspace/living room [because I also write to it; that and Tangerine Dream and an outfit called Lightwave] so I popped it right on the turntable doobery, and \'upward-dogged\' and \'downward-dogged\' to that... well... hello... it was just the bee’s knees, the cat’s whiskers, and the dog’s boll**ks all rolled into one vibe wise wise! So much so in fact that I\'m taking the CD in to the class next week and insisting - in a caring-sharing-tree-hugging-knitting-my-own-museli-kind-of-way of course - that it\'s the perfect soundtrack to the next episode of our stretchy-bendy-staying-with-the-breath-enlightenment.
