Lavender Bear is the second Educational Children's CD in the Teach Me Music Series. Six songs on the first CD Teach Me Music were pre recorded onto the Fisher Price FP3 Player for the holidays in 2006! AND LAVENDER BEAR is on the long NOMINATION BALLOT FOR A GRAMMY! BEST MUSICAL ALBUM FOR CHILDREN 2007

Hello, my name is Bren and I write educational children's music. This second CD is a treasury of different genres of music from Big Band (Let's Pretend) Island Sound (Days of the Week) Latin Sound (Dancing Hands), AND the 5 Minute Shuffle for exercise. Let's use this song for healthy kids, adults and to end childhood obesity!

The Cd will delight children as well as adults. All of these songs were created by information from parents, teachers and children about what they liked, what was needed in the classroom and how I could help through music.

Kids learn through music and I will be the first to tell you that no matter what age, children move to music even the one year olds!
Here are some notes about the individual songs

Animal Sashay starts the Cd with an up tempo beat and fun song about animals this is a great activity song for kids

Days of the week is in the Island style and teaches just the days of the week

Dream is a beautiful lullaby which captures the heart and soul of every mother and child.

Lavender Bear (Waltz) the title track and actual handmade bear on the cover is delightful for anytime with a teddy bear.

Doodle Lee Stroup is a fun song, tongue twisting story that is fun to sing and Clap Clap Bow is challenging when it gets faster and faster.

Do Re Mi Re Do teaches the musical scale in a round and the 5 Minute Shuffle is to get kids moving to end CHILDHOOD OBESITY!
