An Emotional Woman by Brenda Panneton is a celebration of all that life has to offer; the joy of being comfortable in your own skin, the heartbreak of relationships, basically accepting all that life throws at you and finding the positive in it! Her voice is hard to describe, a little sexy, a little sweet, a little folksy, a little bluesy, a little jazzy...Three songs are just Brenda and her guitar and the others are assisted by many local artists from the San Diego area. These artists were brought into the studio and told to play however the song moved them to play. The result is very natural and a true example of what can happen when people believe in a song! This album is full of all sorts of surprises and clearly comes through so beautifully in both the songwriting as well as the singer herself. I look forward to hearing much more from this great talented special lady in the near future.
