Brian Farmer is a multi instrumentalist and composer who has lived an eclectic musical life over the past 25 years. He has played Apala traditional music in Nigeria, founded World Beat pioneers FutuFutu, composed music for film and theater and logged thousands of miles on the road with Capoiera master Nego Gato as a percussionist. In the past 4 years he has devoted himself to exploring the world of the non rhythmic, the slowly pulsing undulations of his solo guitar. Music for Bathing is a soundtrack for your aural bathing pleasure and exploration. It is also the "real" soundtrack for a series of short films due out in the fall of 2007.

Playing this fine CD while gardening yesterday I would suggest it could also be titled "Music for Gardening." A fine piece of ambient drone work. Read more...
