Album Notes

A musical collaboration was formed between Brian Just and Jesse Stevens in 2005 when they recorded their first album EVERY TREE AND EVERY STONE. With Brian’s songs and Jesse’s sound engineering they found a mixture of musical emotions and melodies that are even more focused and lush with sound in the 2008 release OPEN AIR.

OPEN AIR. The album was recorded in basements, bedrooms, garages and yurts in Portland, Oregon and the Oregon Coast. Brian being from the Midwest (Minneapolis) and Jesse being from the West Coast (Portland) they created a country folk sound with the waves of Pacific Ocean washing over.
