Album Notes
Brian Keith Wallen is a rockin', rootsy blues-grass musician. His energetic performances have landed him gigs at venues like Dollywood, Beale Street, Cincy Blues Fest, the Indiana State Fair, and in juke joints, theaters, and clubs from South Bend to Memphis. His virtuosic guitar skills and spirited vocals have earned him comparisons to greats like John Mayer and Joe Bonamassa.

Brian is the winner of the 2011 Cincy Blues Challenge, the 2013 Dayton Blues Challenge, and he was also named Blues Artist of the Year by the Star Gennett Foundation. Upon viewing his performance at the Cincy Blues Fest, iSpy Cincy wrote that “his raw passionate sound encompassed the blues soul with perfection.”

"So Low" is the latest chapter in BKW's musical journey, and it features 7 strong originals, filled with Brian's signature brand of guitar playing. If you want, gritty, soulful tunes with a little bit of rock in your blues, this album is for you.
