Brian Longridge is an Irish pianist, who, as many say, when he plays, there is not a dry eye in the room... He studied at the renowned Berklee college of Music, in Boston, and growing up in Northern Ireland, even as an 11 year old got an award for the highest grades in his classical exams for Great Britain. and has been playing on the radio since 12 years old. He has done filmscoring for the BBC and studied under a Carnegie Hall player. He has performed concerts in many parts of the world.

This was not achieved by sheer technicality, but there is something about the way, and the sensitivity that he plays with, that just stirs your emotions in the deepest way.
Being born with a paralyzed eyelid, he grew up having a heart for people who have gone through pain or rejection, and has carried this into his lifestyle...

Reaching the hurting is what has compelled him for the last 15 years. He and his wife, Mirte, (who is also a musician) from Holland, have worked in Amsterdam with drug addicts and street people, and for 5 years in India with people who have leprosy. They are currently working in the Philippines. They are also both trained counselors, and are momentarily setting up a place of Prayer as well as still working with people who have leprosy. They strangely enough found joy in having their honeymoon inside a leprosy camp on top of a mountain in Indonesia, and lived how they lived for two months with them..

They are firm believers of \"people don\'t care how much you know, unless they know how much you care\". \"In India I used to do concerts for the rich, and have houses built for the poor\" says Brian, but there is not an air of haughtiness about him, and his Irish sense of humor always makes people around him laugh.
