Album Notes

In late 2006 Brian Muench began performing his original music at local open mics all over St. Louis. Inspired by legendary icons such as the Rolling Stones and Al Green, and the new breed of singer-songwriters like John Mayer and Jack Johnson, he caught the bug for entertaining and his story has all but written itself since then.

In 2007, Muench focused on playing as often as possible regardless of travel distance or compensation. He began building a loyal fanbase who recognized his commitment to his music, and by 2008 he was a staple in the acoustic scene in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, hosting more than 145 shows that year.

In February 2009 Muench released "Acting on Impulse", which contained a re-working of several of his previous releases ("Guide My Way", "Notes on a Napkin", "Jacqueline") and several tracks that were previously unreleased ("Night Holds the Moon", "Street Singer", "We Could Be").
