Grit

"Scheduled Till Eleven" suprised me the first time I heard it for the true grit of Sharpe's voice, guitar, and lyrics. Don't get me wrong -- this isn't a garage rock EP. It's not an "unplugged" or "plugged" EP. No, this EP sounds fantastic, complete with a combination of amplified and acoustic guitar stylings and a complimentary drum sound from McLin. The grit is in the material -- an outpouring of emotional and narrative array and disarray. "Anastasia" drives, but I dare anyone not to fall in love with "Last Goodbye". This EP is the beginning of something incredibly big.
