“The Memoirs of Mr. Howling” is the latest installment from Brian Vadimsky. Unlike \"Indian Summer\" which is easy listening, “Mr. H” is nothing of the sorts. A hard loud guitar champions this darker endeavor.
\"Mr. H\" is based upon a character from Vadimsky’s play “Mary Howling” a dark twisted ride to being accepted in society. “H” is an aged once great warrior in the fight against hypocrisy and tyranny. Now just a shadow of his youth, he muster’s up one more great battle to aide Mary in her quest.
With cuts like “School Bully”, “My Third Act” and “The Mayor’s Son”, dark is an understatement. Yes this catalog of movements is a must have in anyone’s collection of guitar Hero\'s. Full of easy to grasp hard grooving guitar rhythms, \"memoirs\" portrays what is so often overlooked, rhythm guitar. Classic vintage sounding and purposely leaving the brushstrokes in, the listener will be introduced to a clearer less produced vision of what a true artist can be… or should be.
