Album Notes

For his second release, Brian Wahl joins forces with A.J. Regier to form the Brian Wahl Band. Together, Brian and A.J. have written and recorded an album full of catchy hooks, this time backed by a full band.

"13 Miles" is a collection of songs written by Brian Wahl mostly during the time he was a student at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. The title track "13 Miles" is a reflection of his experiences there. The song and album title are derived from the road Brian took that lead into Hillsboro, known to students as the 13 Mile Road.

From the first song to the last, "13 Miles" pulls you in with smooth electric guitar riffs and driving acoustic rock melodies. The sound reminds you of bands like Vertical Horizon and Matchbox 20 mixed with the acoustic folk songwriting styles of John Mayer and Caedmon's Call.
