This album is a fusion of Arabic & Western Music. The Oud and smooth Arabic vocals sit over a more conventional western band setup and we fuse many different styles, sometimes in the same song (Zaman is a great example).

This was a long time coming for us. The band have been around for about 6 years now and we have produced 2 other albums, but with lineup changes and new directions to follow, this is the first album of the new sound and direction for the band and was 2 years in the making. The focus of the tunes on this album is really the vocals. We have a world class Arabic singer (Tarik Bashir) and all round troubadour rapper, singer and spoken word expert Tomohawk. Their vocal styles set the scene for the Arabic/Western crossover and the contrast is at times sublime. Tarik and Tomohawk are also sometimes backed up with harmonies from the rest of the band creating lush vocal landscapes.
Underpinning the vocal talents is an eclectic collection of instruments. Oud, Electric, Accoustic and 12 string guitar, Cello, Violin, Japanese Flute, Bass, Keys, Trumpet and Percussion all weave melodies, harmonies and support into the music.
When you add to this the fact that all of the songs are each in a different genere or style, the mix sounds like it might be too eclectic, but the bands strong sense of music and identity, and friendship hold it all together in perfect balance.
We are really excited about this Album. We all feel that it represents the pinacle of our abilities, our friendship and our aspirations so far. We really hope you enjoy it.
