A vibrant young Cajun band by the name of Briggs Brown and the Bayou Cajuns, filled with youth and their fathers (teaching them the traditional authentic music and culture), present to you their CD by the name Vieille memoires - Bons temps (Old memories - Good times). Briggs,15, plays accordion and his sister, Megan,19, angelic vocalist, are descendants of the late Sidney Brown, who was the first to build French accordions and also record some Cajun tunes. Their dad, Greg, plays the bass guitar in the band and is building Cajun accordions now, 2 of which Briggs plays. Travis Benoit, 17, plays fiddle and his dad Ray, plays drums and does vocals. Homer, the guitar player and vocalist is a friend of the band members. The CD includes French and English lyrics so that all may enjoy.
